Farewell, George Jones. It's unlikely he ever drove this beauty on the BQE. A piece in the
City Room Blog of the
Times describes his antipathy to New York City. He didn't show up for many of his gigs, but he didn't even arrange to have gigs in NYC. According to
the Branson Auto Museum, Jones' 1979 Ford Thunderbird has 118,055 miles and is listed at $24,500. Seems like a steal especially since they'll throw in the signed guitar.
