It's later than you think |
When did Daylight Savings Time begin? If you answered 2 A.M. on Sunday, you would be right. Above ground, that is. Below ground, it begins sometime on Friday afternoon when MTA workers reset the clocks before the weekend begins. This has been going on for a long time, though there don't seem to be nearly as many subway clocks as there were when I first lived in NYC and cottoned to the MTA's jump-the-clock game. The photo by
