Contemplating the very notion of having a "favorite" BQE exit. Usually just happy to be getting off the damn thing. Tillary Street has that fabulous loop and can be very satisfying as you zip past people in the "Exit only" lane. But that can be frustrating too, as people use it to get ahead of others and then block the lane as they try to cut the line (lowest people on Earth, I tell you!). Wythe/Kent can be quite interesting as it often feels like being deposited into another world. Hmmmmm
Robyn, Those are good ones. The exit to 48th St. off the LIE after it splits from the BQE has a similar otherworldly feeling. Ah Maspeth, ah humanity! (This is where the artist you tipped me off to was doing his painting.)
