Every now and then a cherry picker emerges above the Kosciuszko Bridge on the Queens side of the Newtown Creek. It's a bit disconcerting for drivers. This time I noticed the NYFD logo on the side of the basket. A drill of some kind, maybe. Is that supposed to make me feel more comfortable?
