I've been waiting for almost a year to capture these safety videos from Avianca's (the airline of Colombia) seat-back entertainment screens.
In the first, a nice but casually dressed young man reacts calmly to the fall of the oxygen masks (las máscaras). Only one máscara falls because, it appears, he is the only one on the flight. (Not my experience on Avianca.)
He reaches towards it and, as directed....
Puts the elastic strap around of the back of his head when suddenly...
A child appears! Where did she come from?!
Well, he goes on to the right thing of course. But it makes you wonder whether Stephen King or Garcia Marquez is the true poet of Colombia.

Where's the Pot of Gold?
Looks like somewhere in Sunset Park.
Rainbow over the Gowanus Expressway Viaduct. In Jersey, they got flash floods.
