Brodsky, Briefly

Now that I am in Paris
I wish I were where my car is.

(From "A Postcard from France")

Brodsky, like Nabokov, wrote beautifully and wittily in his adopted language. The drawing is from an exhibit of Brodsky's drawings at the National Library in St. Petersburg on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
